Ayu was voted 1st in the female category for "The artist who is likely to be caught in a medal" (rough translation; I assume it means "Artist most likely to wear a medal"), according to CDTV. Gackt was 1st in the male category.

oo I think I know what it means!!! They are talking about which artist would most likely win a medal in a sport. If you look at the writing next to the artists' pictures you can see what event they are likely to win a medal in and the reason:
Male: 1. Gackt - Shooting 2. Porno Graffiti guy - Swimming and soccer 3. w-inds - soccer and gymnastics 4. Chemistry guy - shortput and hammer throw 5. EXILE - I can't read these...I'm guessing basketball and 'wildball' (??) Female: 1. Ayu - New gymnastics (??) and synchcronized swimming 2. Ayaya - New gymnastics and tennis 3. Ai Otsuka - basketball (??) and triple jump 4. aiko - swimming and judo(!!) 5. ZARD - tennis and 200m short distance I can't read the reasons..too much hiragana. >,< I guess this's got to do with the Olympics now and such... That's what I figured since the beginning of the post. I thought it was a little obvious for it to have to be related to the Olympics in some way.

For "New Gymnastics" (whatever that is): バレエ___だし、 あの美しいスタイルで 十点_点_実 I think it's something to the effect of "She's got ballet skills, and her beautiful style would score her a perfect ten." For synchronized swimming: _も__力が 要まされる__だ_に あゆなら問題なし And...er...the last line is "It's no problem for Ayu." Also, while I'm on a (rather inept) translating roll, it says 獲れそう, not 獲られそう, so it is "Most likely to (be able to) win a medal." Nobody's threatening to lasso Ayu with the bronze.
