[News] Winter diary ~A7 Classical~ - release 23rd December 2015 (Thread #2)

The album is better than LOVE CLASSICS and A Classical for me at least.
I barely listen to LOVE CLASSICS or A Classical, usually skip the songs when they come on, but A7 Classical is very well done. My favorite track is NO FUTURE.
Sorrows and Last Minute are really nice too. Also the full version of Winter Diary is lovely. The preview we got back then actually didn't do much for me so I'm surprised

I loved the album, I already think that A ONE is one of her best creations, and it was nice to see re-arrangements done in such a professional and creative way. I really liked every single one of them, WARNING and sorrows were outstanding.
I only have to say that the voice is sometimes too low, really. In some parts you can barely hear ayu and I would have loved for her voice to be more the focus of the songs.

This album is great! I actually didn't listen to LOVE CLASSICS and I guess now I don't have to. I only liked two songs from A CLASSICAL so the fact that I adore this whole album pretty much seals the deal on it being my favorite classical ayu album.

Well, I would give Love Classics a shot if I were you... It's not a classical album, but a crossover album, so it's mixes pop with orchestra and some of the results are very insteresting IMO

Really enjoying the album so far !!! WARNING was out right amazing and breath taking, it's one of my favorite tracks if not my favorite from A One and hearing it in a different light but it being just as amazing, I wasnt expecting it

Virgin Road + Love Song + You & Me = Winter Diary PV IMO haha but i really like the classical album. Step by Step and some other songs give me a bit of a legend of zelda vibe which is great. The only minus are the low vocals sometimes ://

I see why people are comparing the video to Virgin Road but for me it has a different vibe.
I think Virgin Road is very boring despite the action scenes but Winter diary looks like it's gonna be very fun to watch, even if it ends up being bad.

It definitely has a different vibe for me as well, despite the similarities. This already is far superior, imo.

I really like the new album. The arrangements are great, loving WARNING and am LIVING for the harpsichord in NO FUTURE.

I'd like to see her re-record vocals for an orchestra album one day, but with the small sales it'll never happen. The mixing for her vocals over the top of the orchestral tracks is pretty shocking and brings me back constantly to the fact they've just re-used the studio vocals from the original album recording sessions.

This Sumapura thing is actually working outside Japan. I haven't tried it on my smartphone, but you can download the tracks from the PC. I don't see the point though, because if you have the physical CD you can actually rip it yourself...
