i sang a ZONE song for my music exam in year 9
got 23/25
i think i did ok
but it was an unusal idea too cos everyone just play instruments
but i was the only one dat sang
i guess i'm good at nothing accpt eletric guitar and sing
i was going to do the eletric guitar untill i realised i was so dumb that i forgot my music score
so i couldent play a damn thing
luckly i got a cd in my locker ZONE single dat saved me or i would of got 0 for my mark
so i had to play a backing track and sing
i hate my voice via a mic it sounds too loud and when i hear myself it kinda makes me forget the words LOL

I don't think it matters where the songs come from. We just like signing.

I like to sing, but only when I'm alone.

My friends say that same thing. They say I can sound exactly like Ayu or Utada when I sing. Also when I play DDR and sing Riku Kosaka songs that I sound just like her. But when I sing infront of my parents, they hate it. But I don't think I sound that great. I'm still working on Ayu's "Still Alone" Song.

'cause if Japanese isn't your native language, it's difficult. At least for me.. Plus, when Japanese is being sung, sometimes it sounds a LOT different than conversational Japanese.

I guess it's the fact that Japanese pronounciation sounds like Spanish, which is one of my native languages.

I'm so used to Japanese (not conversation but singing) that it's easy for me to sing. Korean is a 'female dog'. x__x Mandarin is pretty easy too. ^.^

I was singing Ayu songs like mad today....it was crrraaazzzzy. ~___~

I absolutely agree.

I sing random Japanese songs all the time...around the house and such...and I sang Dearest with a friend of mine at my school's talent show last spring. However, I can't say how we placed as it wasn't a competitive talent show in the traditional sense, it was just a talent show as "a show of talent". We were accepted well though.

And I've been told that, at times, I sound like both Ayumi and Utada...interesting...

I'm like that as well...I hear myself, then start thinking "I sound like THAT?!" and then get thrown off and get a bit messed up on the lyrics.

I loooove singing ayumi's songs...Don't let anyone aside from my family hear me though. XP; Others would laugh! LOL. I showed my friend before and I sounded so terrible because I was nervous when singing to show her a recorded version of me. = =;; But when I'm alone..I go crazy. XD; I dance around and jump around and get all serious into the singing. ^^; It's pretty funny...*laughs*

But I sound terrible...but singing is just something to enjoy and stress-remover for me.

Singing is my favorite thing to do. Know matter what mood I'm in I sing. And I sing particular things according to my mood.
