Well, without a studio version we won't know for sure, but I guess that's because she doesn't even want to lipsync.
She's using backtracking, caue probably the chorus is meant to sound like that. Just like in TOUCH DOWN. That's the impression I get.

The song has so much potential, but Zeke is right, there is something missing. I like it, but it could be such an mindblowing song with a better built up.
But who knows. It feels a bit short with about 2:30 min. A full studio version might sound a bit different.

I listened to Cupcake and in the beginning I though it was the "Are you ah-ah-ah [x10000 times] are you ready..." thing from Ayu's concert, which she usually plays before the encore lol

I see what you guys mean Cupcake not ''exploding'', but I like the song that way, I guess that's a thing in trap music that's kinda common. And I kinda like how it seems it will get higher but it doesn't, it kinda breaks an expectation and not in a bad way (at least not for me). I'm pretty sure there's a verse plus chorus missing from it, but I don't think it'll sound much different.

Unless she goes back to releasing DH discs *sighs in remix*

I looove "Cupcake" so much! It's so catchy...it's already stuck in my head, a bit. Plus, the performance of it was pretty cool! Loved kuu's outfit (she's looking stunning, as always!) and the dancing, too.

I've been thinking the same thing. WOML got old quick for me. Remixes would definitely revive the album for me.

I have just finished watching The Artist live. I thought so long time that no Kumi's Concert could make me feel into it since Japonesque Tour but now it begins again. This concert is perfect for me throughout outfit, setlist and her energy. My favorite ones are
1. Show Me Your Holla - i never think i can watch its live again. i love this song and this performance is really cool
2. Touch down - much more better than Bon Voyage Tour
3. Moon Crying+Brave - touchable as always she performs both of them.
4. Cupcake - cut it as single please, bestly if B-side is Bring it On
5. Dance Medley - This is what defines her as Queen Of Live
6. Hotel - I wait for its live so long time and she doesn't disappoint me on its first full performance. I wanna see it in live version as often as it can.

The Artist makes me gone crazy for Best Single Tour.

My thoughts about the concert:

- The choreography for SHOW ME YOUR HOLLA is so much fun! And the performance is really good, can't wait to see how the performance goes during Bambi.
- Cupcake sounds like an interlude, to be honest. I also was expecting the song to explode after the 'be my cupcake' part, so it sounds like it's missing something. So far the song is okay.
- Crazy 4 U... Best performance of the song ever, loved it! And she looks so gorgeous during this section of the concert, I can't.
- The ballad section isn't boring, so that's awesome. Sad that we don't have the footage of On and On, it was the song that I most wanted to see. The rest is okay, I like the red dress, it's so floaty. haha
- The medley is FIREEE, everything is on point, dance, outfit, the energy, everything is there. Queen of Live indeed.
- HOTEL live is okay... It's kinda annoying, to be honest, but the choreography is cool, so I don't mind the song being there.

Overall the concert is really good! And that's the way to go for the TV version, I can't wait for the DVD!

And btw, this is something that people usually don't talk about but, I just want to say I love the director for her recent concerts. I mean, with Namie's concert there is so much problem with the director, with boring angles and stuff, but with Kuu's concert, most of the time when it's a dance number or something exciting, the editing goes so well with the performance.... <3

The show is great, watched is yesterday night already!
I'm looking forward like hell right now to the rest, as more than the half is still missing (half of the setlist plus interlude movies and probably MC). So much highlights still missing!
Her voice is a bit rough at times (e.g. in UNIVERSE), but her energy and emotion is amazing. Ever since last year you can see, how damn good she got with dancing. She really stepped up her game again with that.
I also really love the stage and the screens and lightning.
Plus I'm such a sucker for rearrangements, especially in combination with such a retro theme in the first part of the show. She should always bring a full band with her.

Don't know, if anybody noticed, but the dresses hanging there in SHOW ME YOUR HOLLA are all old ones she wore before.
Also there was a little mic problem in HOTEL in between, but she cleared it herself, haha. I don't like HOTEL much as a song, but I definitely enjoyed that performance of it. Made me like it more.
It's really hard for me to name faves, but I guess I like TOUCH DOWN, you and the Dance medley the best.

Overall I hope she keeps the high quality she set for her concerts since WOML Tour and The Artist last year.
Also I keep my fingers crossed she gets her voice in full throttle again, even so I'm a bit worried as she is singing so much this year again just like last year.

I loved the You performance. It was really amazing to see with those light effects reflected on her dress.
Also the outfit starting with UNIVERSE is really cool especially when you see the Back view.

Noooooooooooooo, I can't believe they didn't broadcast On And On performance! Out of all the songs WHY On And On!?
