You're taking the numbers too literally. Of course there is no guarantee of a 50% increase in sales if she does TV Promo. However, a release that would generally not have this kind of attention was certainly helped by Ayumi's performance on television, which is something she didn't do for Winter diary.

Is it responsible for all 15k? Of course not, and I didn't suggest that either. But there is not and has never been a correlative relationship between sales and media promotion. Media promotion certainly does affect sales in measurable ways. So, sure, it's not
everything but you're suggesting that musicians go through all the organizing, planning, and rehearsal work over and over with no real expectation of better sales.
