Can someone who understands Japanese please post a general lyrical description of the tracks? I have no idea what they're about haha. I love knowing that Survivor is about the "concrete jungle of Tokyo" stuff like that.

I'm fine with it because the song is awesome, but I'm really ready for him to be replaced. Hopefully this is the last album/tour of this "Circus/Back-to-Basics/Tim" era. I'm ready for a full re-invention next year.

Somehow I think her voice sounds get much worse, especially during the chorus of those rock songs. Seems that she was 'screaming' to reach the high pitch rather than singing.

But overall the songs are great except her voice. The ending of Breakdown makes me feel a little bit weird and its arrangement is quite similar to Shape of love. Besides, the opening of Summer Love makes me think of The Show Must Go On LOL

Really? I think her vocal performance is nice on this album. It's not as screechy and ear-bleeding as A ONE's NO FUTURE, TSMGO, etc.

I went into listening to this album with massive expectations, and it backfired. I'm glad that so many people on here love this album, but eh, it isn't for me. Everything sounds strangely 'samey', even if the instrumentation is different (arrangements are the issue I think). You are the only one is the standout track for me, I hope everything else will grow on me.

The end is supposed to feel like that. I think monochrome was executed in the exact same manner.

Oddly i felt the same way listening to the album for the first time! It's the first time i feel a little "meh" listening to a new Ayu album. But i'm sure it will grow on me

I always take into account what longtime fans think of her releases since they've been around the longest and tend to be critical with her recent work. The fact that most veteran fans seem to be enjoying this album says a lot lol

omg, I thought I was the only one. Its one of these exotic songs like INSPIRE, fairyland, Don't look Back etc.
Love the tropical feel of the song. That's something new for Ayu.

lol, she might steal your idea.

The thing I love about this album is that every track stand out for itself. Every track has unique details and twists that make them memorable. I actually enjoy Ayu's vocals. Like someone here said, TSMGO / NO FUTURE (love this track) are quite something in terms of screaming.

Actually I found her voice is quite weird in the chorus of FLOWER, I can't describe how weird is it in a more specific way but her vocal makes me feel that it was quite hard for her to sing.
I only feel satisfied with her voice in You are the only one and TODAY.
