Recent Forum Downtime

It was so sudden! I was just greeted with a white blank page. I think maybe this site had finally died.
It looks like the website just had to be renewed is all. Pretty normal no?
As a suggestion, I think it would be good to have someone as backup for situations that involve the life of a website with a large amount of users. That way the future doesn't rest on one person.
But I don't know the owner or the higher ups on this site so I technically don't know what I am talking about.
