I feel like there's a very specific reason for it. Wonder if she did any interviews about the creation. Some of her work with DAI as CREA was just.... wow.

Also regarding the winners and losers thing, I don't think she ever addressed it. Was looking at some fan discussion on Yahoo/Biglobe and there was sort of a consensus that she may have thought there was some bitterness in being a winner and that it may not necessarily bring you happiness. Meanwhile, as a 'loser', you may be working harder to protect the happiness you have and not take it for granted. They thought perhaps the themes were similar to 'Dearest' which I agree with.
