^ nah Joanne's not tragic, it actually sounds really great. Lots of good writing and production all round, and great vocal performances.
Also the AHS bit is technically false. Ryan Murphy already said she's returning in a future season dedicated to the Coven world. Her life seems pretty 'together' from everything that I can see... Not that this has anything to do at all with how much I enjoyed the record.
