^I'm pretty sure the enlistments are based on their date of birth, so they couldn't all go together. But I wish they could so they could go and be back quicker.

yes, it is so. the enlistment is based on the age, and they all are of different age, except GDYB, so they can't go all together, TOP is the oldest, so he goes first.

I advice everyone to go to k2nblog.com and download the latest tour in HD, while it is still available (it's the Japanese tour, I do prefer their Korean tours tbh)

Mmmm, I think there is a range of age to do that military thing, they could go together (I think Shinhwa did that) but that will be a loss for YG, even if Big Bang isn't together we get japanese releases from Daesung, korean releases from Taeyang and G-dragon, that means money for YG.

I'm a bit confused. In Korea you have to do mandatory military service before you turn 35, right? (And you have to be older than 18/19?)
So in theory they could still all go together right?

Or is it different when you're in a kpop group?

They could go all at once but my guess is that YG wants to release stuff while some are gone. So let's say TOP, GD&YB are in the army, Daesung and Seungri will release solo stuff until the others return. And when TOP comes back he can promote while the younger ones are in the military. This way there is constantly someone there to promote and it's hard for the public to forget about them.

I think for KPop especially exposure is important! That's why new groups release singles constantly, to grow their fanbase and so they can't be forgotten.
Big Bang has a strong fanbase but who says that'll last until all of them are back? That's my guess why they won't go at once.

sometimes I wonder what they are thinking when they try new hairstyles... Was GD like "yeah put that rat tail on so I can look like a 5 year old German boy from the 90s!" (That was a trend in the 90s in Germany... Was that a global thing or just here? >_<)
I've given up on YB's hair at this point, but Daesung looks really handsome here

Seungri and TOP too!
The styling is really interesting in this photo book, I think I like it

I would also enjoy that! Maybe something like VVIP album-wise, although Let's talk about also had some great songs I enjoyed a lot! I really liked GG BE

I think it would be nice if Daesung would get a Korean solo album, he only got Japanese ones so far

And the last scene killed me

It's the last album before he goes to the military and they end the MV with a scene like that.

I saw a lot of comments of people saying they thought Big Bang would disband after this album. Like, what? Get your information straight, TOP is going to the military.

^I wonder if they did that deliberately, knowing that we're already freaking out about him going to do military service.

I read somewhere on instagram that they also have two more unreleased songs up their sleeves, I wonder if they'll release in 6 months or so to keep fans happy. I'll see if I can find it...

The new MVs are a bit underwhelming. I liked them, but didn't love them. I didn't expect it to be anything groundreaking though, so I'm not complaining

It's kind of like a sweet "goodbye" gift to the fans, I guess.

The "LAST DANCE" MV is pretty nice actually, but the song is not something I'd listen to very often.

And yes, I did notice the signs in FXXK IT! That was kinda cool

it is true, the mandatory service is till 35. it is said that for boyband it is preferred that they join the service at 24-25, so that they could come back still 'young' as to say and grab some money.
YG could send them all at once, but he will be left without profits for 2 years then

the 2 new MVs are good, the songs are dull and underwhelming.

I thought the two new songs were really great!

I think the reason some people are disappointed is because they weren't fierce uptempo pop like bang bang bang and fantastic baby.
From my perspective Bigbang gets better every year.
