Ayu ~Anything Goes: A Thread for XX~
Umm...yeah. This is thread #20 of the general Ayu discussion thread series that have been ongoing since the first one back in the 2012 holiday season (here).
Since XX is Roman numerals for 20, it seems interesting to make a pun of "A Song for XX" for the title of this edition of Ayu ~Anything Goes~ series... I'm still devastated about hearing the news of Ayu's right ear - her only remaining hearing ear - starting to go deaf late last week.

I don't know if I can ask this here, but I didn't want to create a new thread. Does anyone have the documentary Light and Shadow documentary with subs? It was on YouTube, but I can't find it now.
I remember that documentary being so amazing. *_*

I was just rewatching "Power of Music" and I wonder why Ayu didn't make her current tour more like this. It would have been better for her injured knee. I mean, she didn't move much in PoM and it was still an amazing concert.

I think Ayu's styling in POM, costuming, setlist, and the overall theatrics were so good. Those costumes put this current tour to shame, IMO.
She looked so beautiful and I loved that performance of M. My only major comment is that she really was shouting versus singing a lot of the time, but she did somehow still rock it. XP |

Power Of Music just may be my most beloved Ayu live. I don't think I can say anything negative about it honestly.

I remember some people say that they will enjoy her live even if she will only sit and sing. But when she did it for Sparkle everyone was like "WHY SHE DIDN'T MOVE???"

I don't know if anyone ever posted this before here but yesterday was my birthday and (as always) I received an e-mail from TeamAyu! And it's so sweet:

^ I just recently got one as well. I'm impressed that they actually bother to update the message every year (I have 3 year's worth, and they're all different).

I received CAROLS (CD+DVD), SEASONS and Far away today. I continue to enlarge my collection of her old singles.
Now I see how I love CAROLS and how it became classic after all these years. I'd really love to see ayu performing it ![]() So many memories are still so fresh and remind me of someone I used to love so much back in 2004.

I've been listening to the live CD of Premium CDL 08-09 on Spotify (I've never watched it) and I'm happy with the choice of song recordings we got! Such underrated gems! I love how perfectly And Then blends into Naturally

Ayu on Spotify is amazing, since my phone does Spotify on unlimited data streaming....it's so funny that we can listen to whole albums on Spotify but not get all her full PVs on YouTube lol

I feel nostalgic. I hadn't thought about him in a long time but I remembered DJ Amaya. I went to his website and found he made an archive of most of his Ayu remixes. I downloaded it and am listening right now. His remixes weren't perfect and had flaws but I still enjoy them just like I did when I was in middle school. He did a lot of great remixes for Hikki, Kuu, Namie, Ai Otsuka, Lia, alan, BoA, Girl's Generation, etc etc that I also re-downloaded. Very cool stuff. You can tell he's very earnest about J-Pop and K-Pop. He does mostly idol remixes these days but he did also just remix some themes from Ghost in the Shell. I followed him on Twitter. ^...^

So it's LGTB pride month and I want to thank Ayumi for her support to the LGTB people, not only with words, but with actual facts: having a transexual woman as her right-hand on coreographies and one the main dancer on the concerts. And of course Timmy and his work as her main backup vocalist, and frequent composer.
Love is Love
