I think it was sayed during (or after) the release of NEXT LEVEL that BREATH was the Demo Title and was originally planned for BLUE BIRD Single...

I don't think "BREATH" was ever said to be the working title, though this may have been one of those weird errors like Moments and Memories when that single was initially announced and was mostly a misunderstanding. Personally, I thought it could have been "BREEZE" given the airy feel of the song. I always thought NEXT LEVEL would have fit on the BLUE BIRD single but I wonder if there was another track involved.

She did have a track that was gonna maybe be from CREA for Rule/Sparkle that ended up 'losing'. I think it was either Sparkle or the CREA song. I am curious if she'll ever bring CREA back even if just for a bit for like CREA + tasuku or CREA + Yuta.

I still eagerly wait for that song that Kazuhito Kikuchi wrote for Ayu a long time ago.

^ Wasn't there also some song named BREATH in her first Panasonic ad that was sung by somebody else? I could see where some confusion could derive from there too.
The only working titles I know of were Memories/Moments and then SEPIA which was changed to be Endless Sorrow after being announced, but those are basically it.

I'd love an album like LOVE again ...again. I liked hearing songs that were outtakes/demos, and some were quite good (Missing sounds like classic Ayu to me, and Sweet Scar is beautiful and a masterpiece). It makes me wonder about which other really good songs she's passed up.

Lastly, does anyone remember the alternative Merry Go Round shoot where she's on the rooftops but is wearing a short black dress?

BREATH was the name of the music duo that Kazuhito Kikuchi was a part of temporarily in the early 2000s.

Not sure if it was an 'alt' shoot but she did a magazine shoot that was similar for a magazine at that time. It was for Majesty.

The oddest thing in recent years I feel, was Sweet Season being shot rather differently in the copy they gave to the kid actors and actresses. I wonder why the final version ended up with such different shots.

I had no clue that Kikuchi was part of that band! But its their song in the commercial then? I love the sound of it and kind of wish Ayu would've used it

Ah,it was for a magazine cover! I really liked that photoshoot, she looked more modern. I'm a bit sad that she didn't stick with that style of music since her second album was very pop/dance oriented.

Speaking of, I LOVE her old album CMS!!!

There were definitely two versions of Merry Go Round. One version had the Verbal cameo, the other didn't. The later one with him also cut out the whole random artist drawing her face scenes.

They used the same flowy dress footage as for the covers in that version. They made two versions of the Feel the love and Merry go round PVs, but they didn't really have 'new' Ayu footage. Not to say that there wasn't another video but it was basically night scenes + flowy Ayu + VERBAL as opposed to flowy Ayu + artist Ayu.

However, they had her change into a black short dress for the Majesty shoot in the same rooftop which is what Luniverse was thinking of.

I didn't know Naka Riisa was ayu fan! I remember her from Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo dorama. She looks much more Japanese in this tv program.

I Noticed how the " kawaii's" disappeared the minute the current ayu came on screen (singing who). I don't understand, I feel as though ayu gets prettier every year.

Most of the shows just destroy her image but this one is a very good feat! Naka Riisa looks so cute! Love it <3 I wish they would invite Ayu to record a video to her like they did with the ice skater that loves Ayu.

I loved the quick Lindberg appearance too.

Whenever I look back at Ayu's fox tail it makes me want to try it out but I'm too afraid.

Im always happy and touched everytime I watch this kind of show showing how Ayu has inspired many people and how shes being a trend setter back then, so cool, what a living legend she is <3 I wish I already knew her during those era!

After Shabekuri, this is the second time I saw they credited her for being the pioneer in decorating phone with "kira kira" stuffs, cool Ayu!

I'm putting myself out on a limb saying this but I was never a fan of Ayu's 'iconic' fashion. The tail. The bling. The sunglasses. All. That. Freaking. Denim. Or animal prints. I loved her hairstyle and her music and her personality, but I just... I dunno. The fashion just wasn't for me, I suppose. I much more prefer Ayu's street fashion nowadays to the stuff back then. However, there is no denying she was quite the trendsetter. Kind of remarkable, actually, that one person could have such an impact.
