I'm surprised she hasn't performed Love ~Destiny~ more often since it was one of her earliest hits. Although I'm not actually the biggest fan of it. I'd be happy with Love ~Since1999~ or Love ~Refrain~

I've gotta check out the Sayonara performance from A Nation. I wish she would perform it at a concert.

I forgot about the Winter Diary PV - it's a better quality than the Flower and Mad World PVs so I hope we get some good quality PVs on the next album.

My current obsession now is Dream On after watching a live performance of it. So catchy!

Really? Both ~refrain~ and ~since 1999~ just make me laugh! They sound so outdated, but maybe with new arrangement..?

Is there any love for Daybreak over here?
I wish she'd perform it, all we have is that unplugged AT2002 version...
And that instrumental from PoM which, btw, brings m to tears every time <3
The PV is also amazing - her eyes, the one-shot -style, the athmosphere... Love it! <3

She probably likes LOVE ~destiny~ but it's likely not something fits into non-MC segments. Not sure how she'd sound singing it nowadays either.

I really love the Album Version of Daybreak, the HAL's MIX is meh...

I love seeing Daybreak getting attention.
Both versions are amazing to me. I would love to see Ayu perform it live with HAL's mix and create a very atmospheric performance. But the HAL's mix might sound pretty outdated these days.

I loooove the album version of Daybreak. It's so perfectly... imperfect, if that makes sense. Just that whole run of songs at the start of I am... is just (for me) the best run of songs on any Ayu album. The whole feel of the songs, the songs themselves, the way I am... feels so polished and perfect like a pop album but the songs have this very rough around the edges feel to them. It's all just... perfectly rough around the edges and so good. When Daybreak comes around it's SO cathartic and free compared to still alone, which feels very tight and tense. It's the perfect ending to the first half of the album.

I just love I am...! The songs are all typical Ayu to me, but I think the 'feel' of these songs is something only found on I am. I was totally in shock when we got Mad World, it pulled those same heartstrings as the stuff on I am. Think it was the way she sung it, because it definitely sounds more polished.

HALs version of Daybreak is nice but it's got nothing on the original for me.

LOVE ~Destiny is honestly one of my favorite ballads by her. It's so beautiful and the lyrics are just so pure. I wish she'd perform that more too, along with SEASONS and Dearest, but I'm sure she has her reasons for those.

As for Winter Diary, I actually really love that song. It has a very bittersweet tone to it that we don't hear too often in her ballads anymore. Also, I forgot where I read this interpretation (I believe it was a post on here, so please let me know if you were the one who said it!), but the Winter Diary PV actually does match up with the song. The song is about how Ayu wishes she could go back in time to confess her feelings and kind of "redo" things, and the PV illustrates that pretty well with the alternate timelines.

All this love for Daybreak make me so happy! It's one of my ultimate Ayu songs, even though I don't listen to it that often...

I don't know about the Winter Diary PV since the whole thing is a blur... the rob a bank and something, right? I remember seeing it and thinking about Love song/Last angel

Just remembered the Love again era. What a time to be a fan. Maybe it was because I was younger then and easily impressed lol but do it again (song and PV) is such a gem.

It was a great era though (minus all the lip filler) -- the nostalgic melancholy of that album was amazing, the PVs were all on point, etc. I was also not a huge fan of RnRC (I'm cool with a lot of songs on the album, it just doesn't do much for me), so it was a breath of fresh air.

I absolutely love the singles from that era. Her look was kind of weird on the other hand...

I also remember not liking RnRC when it was released. I learned to appreciate it with time, I love it now (I just can't with Lady dynamite)

I wasn't a fan of most of the singles of Love songs and the album itself when things were coming out, I basically liked MOON and Last angel only... Then sometime around FIVE I gave it another full try and looked at the lyrics and I started liking it. Now it's one of my Top 3 albums for sure, it flows so well and feels so fresh, and hasn't aged at all since its release (unlike FIVE imo)

^I remember that! She also sang that Softbank CM song acapella, ZIN dressed as the dog!!

I love crossroad, the melody is amazing <3 I like the a-nation performance though, but it's the same thing with crossroad as it is with Daybreak... with all her songs, she's got to cut somewhere I guess but I could easily change the next Love song -performance to a crossroad one

I didn't like the preview diffused around MOON's release though. It sounds outdated. Someone still has the preview? I'm curious to hear it again. I remember It was quite different of the final version.
