I can't say that I'm disappointed by the tracklist as POM did show some nice jazz arrangement but I'm sad as to why they nv release a jazz album instead ^^?"

I like the tracklist and I tend to love Acoustic Orchestra versions, so I'm exited with this release

I don't mind the cover, not great but not bad either, and, for me, as long as the songs are good, I really don't care much about the rest...

I think if this drawing were included in the booklet, or if it was the illustration on the disc, we'd all be like "OMG so pretty I want a poster of that!!!" because it IS pretty. Making it the cover was just... an epically boneheaded move. When fans like Polyrhythm are throwing together epic (and classical-inspired) slide boxes in Photoshop in a very short amount of time, there's no excuse for covers like this one.

Sorry, nothing personal against Polyrhythm, but once her works started being like 98% of the fanmade stuff, I'm out. They are always over the top, over-worked, cliche and obvious.

I don't really follow fanmade works, most of them are... well, not to my taste. And no, the photoshopping on Polyrhythm's image isn't perfect but that concept was fantastic, and certainly better than what we got so my point still stands. That concept, in the hands of professional photographers & designers, would NOT have taken long to put together and would look gorgeous and amazing, and $30 would NOT seem like so unreasonable a price anymore. Slapping text on fan art is NOT how you put a CD cover together.

^ I'm sorry, but I have to disagree... again, nothing personal against Polyrhythm, but the album already is named A Classics and have orchestral versions of songs... Putting her on a rococo style dress on some XIII century European building is not just way too obvious and redundant, but way too steriotypical... It's not what "classic" music is about, but what people who isn't in touch with the genre believes it's about.

Kind of like when Ayu thought London was about leather, tutus and Union Jack hats? Or denim hot pants and neon tops in... Hackney of all places. Please, Ayu, stop.

Dude, everything Ayu does is overblown cliches nowadays. An overblown classical cover would be fitting, although I've not seen the fan one in question.

She still tend to be far less cliche than your everyday fanwork, believe me.

Ayu looks at places like London and things like Classical music as - and she is - an outsider. As sad as it is, if you're not part of a culture or world, cliches are almost always all you have to go on.

If we're gonna get picky, the album shouldn't even be called "A Classical" since "classical" music lasted a hundred years and most of what we call "classical" is actually baroque or romantic. We can whine about how the word "classical" is an inaccurate cliche - which it ABSOLUTELY is - But no reasonable person is gonna say "rawr we shouldn't call it classical." Chill the heck out, jeez.

Besides, I was referring more to the cutout on the box than the photo itself anyway.

I did like...um, I think it was artcika's with the broken down cathedral.

But I do like Poly's packaging. Cause it's pretty. I like pretty things.

I don't know how any of those things fit in with her grand concept of "art meeting the music" or whatever she said that justified that drawn cover.

Same here. You & Me, Love song, Dearest and BLUE BIRD are my favorites, hehe. This album is a lot better than Winter diary ~A7 Classical~ but I can't decide if it's slightly better than LOVE CLASSICS..? LC and AC are different albums with different meanings so...

My favourite ones from the album are "M", "Days", "Dearest", "You &Me" and "Love Songs".
And I agree so much, the only song I truly liked from A7 Classical was "Winter Diary" and "Sky High".
In comparision to Love Classicals, it's quite hard to compare considering A Classical consisted of classical arrangements of her songs and Love Classics adapted some famous classical music composers songs to fit her songs.

Yeah, that's what I meant
I was wondering... I own A7 only in digital form and have listen to it on Spotify, but have you experienced that the vocals on the album are on a lot lower volume than the instruments? Is it hard for you to hear the lyrics? I thought it was Spotify's fault but I've had the same proble on several digital downloads of the album...

I actually also think AC is better than MY STORY Classical and I'm sure that's an unpopular opinion I just dislike MYC except for HAPPY ENDING, HOPE or PAIN, Moments. They really ruined [B]walking proud[/B in my opinion

Yes, with headphones it's more noticeable. Sometimes music is on a lower level for me in Spotify but I think that's just Spotify's definitions.
I also agree that AC is better than MYC, considering during this years (since 2012) as a fan of Ayumi, I tend to forget about its existence sometimes. I would have loved "A song is born", if they had kept the voice and my favourite on the album is "Game".
