Favorites from the new album (aside from the singles previously released) are:

13 Beaches
Cherry
Heroine
Change
Get Free

My least favorite track is Tomorrow Never Came only because I think that should have been her singing solo. I don't think Sean Lennon's voice sounds nice here and I think he takes away from the song. Them singing together during the chorus is OK, but when has his solo parts in the song, I really can't stand his voice.

I'm going to see her live for the first time. I'm so excited, but I heard the fans can be extremely scary, so now I'm really scared to go... The tickets were also so hard to get!

^ I didn't know that? It was a pretty long time ago, but I saw Lana in Amsterdam when she just released Paradise, and the vibes where pretty good. Bit of hipster, flowercrown/headband and bandshirts type of people (the stereotypes you even hear about in her songs), but I never felt unsafe. What did you hear? Anyway, I hope you have a great time!

So glad the album works out well for everyone! I love it too. The only songs I am not very fond of are Coachella, Beautiful People Beautiful Problems, Tomorrow Never Came and Get Free. Not that they aren't great songs, I just don't care about them. Groupie Love growed on me a lot and it is added up to my favourites. The album is really good and my favourite right after Born to Die. I have listened to this album for like 50 times already and it doesn't tire me like Honeymoon did. I am happy, I can live for another 2-3 years, waiting until the pulls off the next great thing.

And to the certain member who said it doesn't top Lordes Melodrama... well, to top that album, it needs to be sick and different. Lana has found her style and sticks to it. Everything she does is already great to me. Bit insane, but okay.. you get it when you are a big fan. Ayu cannot do really wrong with her music either to me.

I love the changes Lorde made, but I also thought she really needed it. I wasn't a fan of Royals at all!

Thanks! I will make the best of it even if they are vicious lol. I heard from people's experiences on YouTube that a majority of lana fans will scream and push at people and are just plain rude. Here's a video

That was a while back though, so I'm hoping the crowd is different. Plus the show is supposed to be more intimate since it's at a small venue. ^^

It was probably crazy because it was in San Francisco.
I remember that youtube video from a few years back. It was a bit surprising. But it could just be that one crowd was bad. She should have spoke up during that concert and told everyone to chill out.
I would prefer to see Lana in a laid back environment so I can fully enjoy the music.

What song do you guys think it's going to be the next single? I really want a video for "Cherry" (but I wouldn't be sad if she picked "13 Beaches").

That's too bad there was some scary stuff happening at her concert. I've never heard of anything like that before, most people say that it's hard to hear much of Lana's voice because the audience screams and/or sings every single line with her. It might be annoying to some, but that also shows how passionate people are about her music.

I hope you have a great time, though! Have fun!

There are so many other videos of other fans experiences at Lana concerts. >.< I totally forgot about this when I bought my tickets lol. I watched all the videos when I first became a Lana fan, but I never thought I'd see her anyways due to tickets selling out so fast, but I decided for the LFL era I wanted to see her. So I stayed up all night, and bought some signed merch from her store to get the early access code. I am grateful that I was able to get tickets though. They're selling for $600-$900 now.... I just don't want to go to the show and get trampled or bruised and scratched up lmao. People say her concerts are worse than punk shows. O_O I'll let you guys know how it goes tomorrow though. I'm extremely excited and terrified at the same time! They announced this morning that fans can start lining up at 7:00 a.m., but I'll be there around 5:00 p.m.

Omg the concert was so amazing! I don't know why I was so worried!!! All the fans were so nice! After the show we stayed to try and meet Lana. The fans were nice enough to talk to me and drag me to where she would be driving out. She drove right by us, but she didn't get out. :'( Still it was nice interacting and talking with all the other fans. Also there was one crazy incident that happened! Some guy was recording and face timing during the show, and he had his phone high in the air. Another guy got really pissed off by it, and he started cussing and shouting at the guy recording. Suddenly he grabbed the guys phone and he threw it against the ground. O_O they started arguing during Ride (such a beautiful song WHY?!). The guy who got his phone thrown on the floor let it go, and he continued to record and his phone was still okay! I was so surprised!

On another note, Lana sounded so pretty in person, and she went into the crowd like 5 times! Bish also said, "I know it was easy for you guys to get tickets due to the access code." Uh like no gurl it was so difficult to get the tickets! People were buying them from scalpers for $600... *_* she talked with the crowd a lot, and she even mentioned how she doesn't really like singing certain lyrics from Ultraviolence, as she is not in that place anymore. I'm guessing she means "he hit me and it felt like a kiss."

Btw sorry if I sound like I'm rambling, I'm just excited to talk about my experience at my first Lana show!

^ I'm so glad you had a good time!

And yes, she doesn't sing the line "He hit me and it felt like a kiss" anymore because she used to only know abusive relationships but now she is in a different place You can read more in this interview—a really interesting one, by the way.

He hit me and it felt like a kiss comes from the original song by The Crystals. I assume that is wear she got that lyric from.
I'm glad the concert went well in the end! I hope to see Lana in concert some day. Although I haven't been keeping up with her like I should.

This is not new, but...
Lana announced a World Tour in 2018! YES! It has been so loooooong.

Last time I saw her was right after the Paradise release. I am so hyped, I can't wait for the ticket sale.

I got tickets to see her in January! I've never been to see her live and I'm sad I missed the opportunity to see her in a more intimate venue but at least I got some pretty good Loge seats so I can be close-ish without dealing with the crazies in the GA section (I ain't about that life)

I've also been digging Jhene Aiko's new album so she's like an added bonus...though I've heard mixed things about her performing skills so idk, guess we'll see!

Born to Die > Paradise > Lust for Life > Ultraviolence > Honeymoon

She’s coming to my city... debating about seeing her. I’d love to see Jhené Aiko too.

Lana collaborated with BØRNS

I like it, it is a bit different than her usual gimmick. This is more upbeat, pop... maybe even mainstream? It reminds me of Prisoner, iirc a collbaboration with the Weekend.

Sooo I went to Antwerp to see her last Tuesday. I was with my best friend, who ended up being drunk at the concert, and his sister who was pissed not being able to stand in the front row.

She started later than was sheduled, and we weren't really amazed by the opening act Cat Power, so we were dying to see her. Finally, 20 min later she showed up in a Malibu shirt, glitter skirt and glitter boots and sang 13 Beaches. Even though it is my second time seeing her, I felt so happy I could cry.

The setlist was great. She sung all title-tracks, so Honeymoon was a really big surprise. Also High on the Beach was performed and Gods and Mosters, which were fan requests even though nobody really asked for G&M haha. Great thing my friend was drunk and screaming loudly when she asked what to sing next. He wanted Salvadore and Carmen, but... too bad.

She sounded great, aside from some notes that didn't go really well when she was improvising. Also I found that she sung a bit too little. Sometimes she left gaps to dance around, or point the microphone towards the audience and left out entire bridges or even parts from the refrains.

I had a great time and the concert was unforgettable. I loved dancing with my friend and having a good time. I missed Off To The Races in 2012, so it was a blast to end the show with this amazing track.
