the thing in not understanding is that sacd and dvd-a are owned by two different companies, which just seems so funny. i have yet to buy the dvd-a of rainbow, but i want to so bad, multi channel high quality audio is where it is at, it is so awesome, i have linkin park, dvd-audio for re-animation, which kicks so much butt hearing the sounds coming from all over the room, and yes dvd-audio will hold video, since it is pretty much just a dvd, since there are vids on my linkin park dvd-audio. only sacd's i have are only 2ch stereo, but they do sound very nice, and are 24bit music as opposed to your 16bit standard cd. by havin this u can hear "subtleties" which u would normally not hear, but if you only listen to mp3's you would never know anyways.

Carols (34th single) will be on sale on the given date 2004.09.29, nevertheless this single will only contains ONE SONG in 3 version
recorded on 4 different types of CD,DVD,SACD﹐ DVDaudio
And inside these CD, there will be the CAROLS CM as well.

In general, the song ABOUT YOU will not be recorded on this CD, i think this song will be featuring in the next 7th ALBUM~ like the ANGEL's SONG last time , it was also recorded in the MEMORIAL ADDRESS ALBUM~ so we have to wait until the full version of ABOUT YOU comes out, now we will soon hear the FULL VERSION of CAROLS original mix~

Thanks for posting, but actually it's not the news... We knew it a ......... while ago. And according to YesAsia it will be MV and not CM on the DVD: "DVD: 01 CAROLS (Video Clip)"....

Maybe CAROLS is a very good song such that Avex has so much confident that having only 1 song in the single will make good sales as well. You know it doesn't really matter if you are to include another song, i.e. the expenses on making a CD is the same afterall no matter how many songs are there. Oh well, hopefully CAROLS really pwns.

Read yesasia's official review for MISIA's "Namae no nai sora wo miagete".

It says "Usually when a Record Company releases a single with only the one track with it's instrumental, they are very confident that the song is of utmost top quality, that it's enough to sell well."

I do hope that is the case.
