Over a million copies in a week? This woman has stayed in the game for so long and still manages to impress me. I'm really going to miss her.

^ Me too. It just struck me the other day that now that Finally is released, there's no more new music to look forward to. I was so excited for the release of it and all those rerecorded songs that that part just went right over my head. It was heartbreaking to realize
***
Speaking of Finally, I was listening to arigatou and just realized they fixed the grammar at the end. Instead of "And thanks the world for love." (Which was something that always bugged me, though it really shouldn't have.) It's now "And thank the world for love." I thought that was a nice gesture, to fix it. Was there any other changes of lyrics?

So I finally got around to listening to Finally. I'm not a fan of some of the re-recordings (she sounds fine. It just doesn't hold the same charm as the original recordings). That being said, it was fascinating hearing her progression as an artist from her time with SUPER MONKEYS to her solo debut. Then the transition into a more urban artist and then back to pop music towards the end of her career.

It's bittersweet. I'm happy she's at peace and leaving on a high. She accomplished what she set out to do. Even though I do not listen to Jpop anymore, she was such a staple in my life as a kid and into my adult years. I'm going to miss her.

I wish they would've done the same to CYC tbh but that would have been too controversial!

All I want her to do is to learn how to pronounce "celebrate" I always burst out laughing by how she sings "I can SLAY-LE-PLATE" at the end

Not sure if it was grammar issue or a pronunciation one. If you think about it, the original could have been an incident of engrish, give that "thank the" could be mispronounced as "thank saa" if you understand what I mean. It surprises me sometimes how some of her English sounds so clear, and in other songs it has me wondering if the producer even bothered having her record it to sound like English at all. Anyways more of a theory/question on my part.

I think that's what a lot of us were wondering with FEEL. Some of her English pronunciation on that CD is actually pretty good. And then there's Let Me Let You Go...Really makes you wonder what exactly they were aiming for.

She pronounces it fine in the "Ballada" and "Finally" versions. At least to my ears she does.

9.1% is good or bad?? I have no idea.

Ugh I just really hope I get tickets....I’ll be devastated if I can’t see her at least once. Watching concerts is alright but actually attending one if a completely different experience.

^ If anything buy them on resale. After researching and thinking it over for a long long time, I think the tickebo e-mail registration upon entering the lottery is to try to cut down on resellers to buy in bulk since in past concerts I would see resell packages of 4 or more tickets.

Even though I do want to see her, I would kinda feel guilty about winning tickets... because I know that there are hardcore fans that have been with her from the beginning that would appreciate them so much more... granted winning is still a very small chance lol. I haven't purchased the album so I can't apply yet anyway. What day is the deadline? Or did I miss it lol

Soooooo I set my bank account such that I'll receive a text message every time my card gets charged, and I was charged twice for the ticket amount around 12am Japan time, but I balloted for 3 shows.

I wonder if this means I managed to get 2 shows. But I'll wait for the official email to be 100% sure. Maybe you guys can check if you guys have already been charged too?
