Still can't believe I finally got to see Ayu in person... definitely a dream come true

However, while the whole show was full of energy and emotions (she must've cried at least 5 times), her voice was extremely worn out. She pretty much screamed through the entire show, and by the end she sounded extremely hoarse even if she's just talking or laughing (almost lost her voice doing so).

I felt really bad for her but I definitely still had an amazing time - it makes a world of difference when you are actually there hearing her sing all these songs you grew up with in person :')

So happy you got to go! I love it when people get to go for the first time, knowing how absolutely amazing mine was. Did you cry? Lol, I melted down at the end of my first time.

Speaking of crying, yeah ayu cries a lot during the show, but much of it is part of the theatrics. For example, in Last minute, she stopped singing and just sat there and “cried” at the exact same part during both shows I went to, and resumed singing in the same spot too.

Also I forgot to mention that I think Timmy gets to improvise slightly during the portion where he comes on stage and his cane is somewhat controlling him. Like the first time I saw him he kept calling it his “sexy” stick, and he pointed to me with it and said “are you a bad boy??” Lmao. Then when it’s like stuck on the stage and he’s trying to pull it back out, during the New Years show he said “Fuck it.” and I died, lol. The show on January 5th he didn’t say that.

I almost did - I pretty much broke down like a little baby on the inside. The Timmy part was kind of awkward because I felt like I was probably the only one who understood him LOL.

Are you still in Japan? Any other Ayu fans in Japan would like to potentially meet up? I'm in Nagoya right now.

> I will be in Japan starting the 1st of February, but I'll be in Tokyo. In case you're still there, we could meet.

Does anyone has experience with ordering tickets via the Lawson Ticket Online Page? I want to order a ticket for the aomori show but I don't know how it works. Maybe someone here can help me.

Hi. Are you talking about getting tickets through machines at Lawson? If you’re in Japan its easy to get one as long as seats are still available. Just look for the code of Aomori show in Lawson ticket site. Hope this link helps

Thank you for your help, I wanted to order the ticket online since I am not in Japan yet but I am a little hesitating because I don't know how I can order it online. I guess I just have to wait and hope that tickets are still available when I arrive in Japan.

I'm in the same boat (for a different show date though). Ticket.co.jp no longer accepts foreign credit cards as far as I can tell, though you can buy off them if you can get to a Lawson's or 711 to pay within 30 minutes of ordering. I ended up contacting japanconcerttickets.com. They buy them off the resale sites and can ship them to you. I not know that much about them, as I haven't actually purchased the tickets from them yet, but the reviews seem to be good. Maybe someone else here has more experience with them or a similar website. Otherwise you'll have to buy from a convenience store machine, hopefully they'll still have.

This may be a little too late, but I just saw that there are still tickets available online for Aomori from Lawson's http://l-tike.com/

Yeah I’m here on exchange but I’m Tokyo.

Speaking of Nagoya, there’s an AyuNight similar to the one I went to in October where they play nothing but ayu music in a club and have drag performance shows/impersonators. I would highly recommend going as getting to dance to ayu in a club is one of the sickest experiences. The performances are a blast and hilarious too. It’s on the 29th.

I'll be in Nagoya then, sounds like an interesting event, it's even on the same street where I'll be staying
