It's strange that Kuu's official site didn't upload the AND previews but instead the other websites did o_O

Anyway I'm not going to listen to the preview tracks since it's less than a week before the album get released

Preview snippets don't tend to do justice to the full tracks so I don't mind to wait

GOT ME GOING' has some awesome vocals in the preview and it does sound pretty smooth (though the overall quality of the previews isn't too good sadly - don't understand why they can't upload HQ ones). Looking forward to hear the full thing.
Jessie J's own disco is mostly a miss for me, I love her newest single Queen and the two songs she did for Kuu though.

You are right - but I`m rarely disappointed in previews, most of the time they excite me. And disliking 1/4 of a song is probably enough or me to not listen to it.

Bu i guess it is okay? I'm not like "OMG why does she do this, I want something different" like most people do. I guess this one will just not be a such a spin as other albums by her and I'm okay with that,

Like some others have mentioned here, it's just not my bag, and I feel like her style has shifted away from what I enjoy.

W Face was the first album(s) I didn't buy from her. Looks like this will be the same for me. :/

I feel you on this. Was re-listening to TRICK yesterday and made me realize how different Kuu’s music has been recently. Can’t put my finger on it but her songs sound... unfinished and harsh?

Also I was listening to NO ME WITHOUT YOU the other day and god her voice is AWFUL but damn I love the song LOL.

Koda Gumi round for those additional dates goes from 02/23 - 02/27.

And the Japanese seem to like the previews, cause since yesterday AND CD+DVD version is selling in the top 60 on amazon.jp. That's higher than the W FACE albums (highest for W FACE outside was 80 something).

Do you mean before the release. I remember around the time of the LINE LIVE on the release date both albums were around #11-12 on Amazon.

I mean, I don't expect AND to revive anything. But I do think it's a nice mix of Koda from the last 8 years. It's just nothing worth phoning home about.

My favorite cover is from Color the Cover. The background, the pink hair, the awesome dress. A++ to me.

Her top 3 covers for me would be JAPONESQUE, Color The Cover and Kingdom for sure.
As for singles I think MOON, Alive and Ai no Uta. Overall I think she has a very solid portfolio of cover arts.

My favourite cover is probably the clown cover from TRICK. I don't even like clowns much, but this cover is really artistic and well done. I'm actually sad they just used it for one cover.

Yeah her style has become tougher and grungier in a way. Both in image and vocal style she's lost a bit of the softness and elegance she had through a large part of her career. Even with her ballads, they've shifted away from the over the top gowns and crystals and cell phone dramas, and boiled down to something with a more 'bare' feeling.

I like her image right now though. I like the ferocity, the bold fashion and vibrant colours, the mixture of textures in her wardrobe and hair, her posing for photos is dynamic and cool with lots of attitude, and the photography style has become cleaner and very modern (Walk of My Life and The Artist covers are amazing). There's not a lot of clutter around her image, you get to just enjoy her personality, which I love!
Actually, it feels like her image has become more fashion-forward than costume-concept. Unfortunately, the musical shift that has gone along with it has left me out.

These covers are pretty awesome! I was looking forward to the previews based off the covers! That CD+DVD Teal+Leg Lift sass is fabulous. I have really enjoyed her recent covers too though. Walk of My Life, The Artist, W Face, all very mature, sexy, and strong covers. But damn, you're right on how great Japonesque, Kingdom and the 12 singles were. The CD only and CD+DVD for Japnonesque are among my top favourites!
