I bought it on Tickebo though. It's a QR-code.

Don't think you can resell. It was mentioned that they checked the name on the ticket with the one on your passport.

how do they check it?

I have my old passport and one of my friends want to buy the ticket and I can give them that passport. The problem is that it's expired (but it's totally written in English so Japanese may not understand well) and my friend doesn't really look like me.
