I believe Shimoko's first work with her was fairyland and was probably his best.

She looks so effing good.

Worried though. I think she is redoing A BEST 2's concept. Black and white with mirrors???

On the other hand, in her new story instagram, she's like a doll. Don't like this princess style. I have a picture but I'm on the phone so don't know how to share it for now.

I love Shimoko's work with Ayu. The You were... covers alone are reason enough. Those were beautiful. I love the way Ayu is looking here with the two dresses and the hair and makeup. This is more in line with what I personally like from Ayu.
But I don't get what this hype is with the black and red picture. It looks like fan art.

I think that’s just like a typical Japanese girl thing to do in insta and such. Hope it doesn’t sound sexist but the fans eat it up and even take the videos and further edit them. So I think it’s not bizarre to them.

And regarding the hype of the picture: It’s not necessarily the edit of the photo but rather her look itself. Yeah the edit looks like fan art but ayu herself looks amazing.

I think people tend to do that when using social media in general. They make funny faces and act 'cute' to get ready for a shot/video. This is really not that weird.

I do that as well, but Ayu doesn't seem cute for me, just pretty over the top.

Ayu looks amazing! There is a group shot out with her black dress. It gives me A BEST 2 meets 2009/2010 Ayu-realness vibes. I never knew I missed diva Ayu so much!

Well maybe not the diva-part but oh boy what was I waiting for something non-pastel-pink/peach
