Well to be fair, it's not like we're expecting Ayu to come across this thread or anything...I think even 5 or 10 years ago we had more hope that Ayu would "discover" us and these kinds of threads had more of a place in the scheme of welcoming her to interacting with us. These days it's more about being happy between fans so less people bother to post. Besides heaps of people tweeted her so it's not like she has been forgotten!

Yes, I think a lot of people use social media to wish her a happy anniversary nowadays. That's actually the reason I didn't post her because I had already done it on Twitter but reading everyone's posts today now makes me want to add my piece too.

I spent the 8th watching PVs around 1 or 2am and then watching some live performances when I woke up later that day (and I also wore one of my Ayumi t-shirts). Can't believe it's been 14 years since I became a fan. I was 18 then and 32 now.

Looking forward to future releases from Ayumi!
