So, for her supposed new album, it'd really be cool if she had an interlude or intro that was in the same style as Dearly Beloved from Kingdom Hearts...I guess A Bell is similar.

I feel like her newer music is seriously missing some nostalgia fuel. A lot of her older music gives me nostalgia to listen to...her new stuff, not so much.

^I need her next album to have a task- interlude though, for my theory to work: I’m still convinced that task- interludes get released on two consecutive albums all the time, with matching titles. taskinlude/taskinillusion- tasking/taskinst - taskebab/task’n’bass - tasty-??? (My bet is on Task it)

It doesn’t mean nor prove anything but I love stupid theories.

Speaking of which...

I was just watching the Warning PV, and it struck me that it was some kind of new take on the Lady Dynamite PV. It might be completely stupid or already very well known, but here is my point:
First, the haircut is the same (point made, bye). Then, both clip are very obviously gay friendly.
In lady dynamite, she goes to a club, but she is just a person in the room and she actually has to queue in front of the club. In Warning, she pushes people and moves forward, and she is on the stage.

Considering the ‘scandal’ that lady dynamite was, and WARNING’s lyrics, it feels like it makes sense too. Ayu is saying ‘not happy with my choices? You don’t have to listen to me’.

Voilà, just a random thought, WARNING is probably an uninspired ‘shockingish’ clip, but I love to make sense of things (one of my teachers used to say what the messages you see in material you are given isn’t almost at least as important as the messages it meant to convey).

Lord y’all never learn. Lol.

Why put that pressure and those expectations on the next album? How many times has that worked out for ya? Fuck cause it has never worked out for me.

Look to the new release with fresh eyes and perspective.

Of course I want something good, but I’m not about to sit here and put into detail what “good” might be, because then it becomes virtually unattainable. I learned that the hard way with R’n’R Circus when I bascislly had built an entire concept in my mind, fashioned together from all the teaser images we received.

Honestly, ayus albums are never what I expect them to be. Maybe this time I’ll expect it to be a hot turd on a platter. Lol.

I don't really ever have expectations but I like whatever it is when it does come. For a lot of people, the fantasy and theorizing is just part of being a fan it's just that when the expectations set are basically make or break for the release and Ayu doesn't really meet them at all... then what?

I never really get the whole "I want a new *insert past release*" thing that comes around when we discover she will release something.

I think most people have favorite albums.
Sounds they like, themes they like, images they like.

Though I can't speak for everyone, all I mean when I say it is, an album that could be as great and varied and well produced as Loveppears, with similar themes explored and the "cool" sound of the album, would be great for me.

That entire album is just... cool. Like, it's so mature. A fantastic, futuristic, experimental pop album.

There's never going to be a replica of it, nor do I want there to be.

Just an album that would leave me with a similar feeling after listening to it.

And it doesn't mean I won't be happy if it doesn't sound like it. But if I could have any a sound similar to any album right now, it'd be this one.

All I'm gonna say is that even if I say "I want this" or "I wish for this" doesn't mean I expect it.

To be honest, I have no expectations. I have things I think would be cool, but I never assume those things would come true.

I kind of forget about M(A)DE IN JAPAN sometimes, but when I think about it, I remember being very impressed with it when it came out. So, I'm not expecting to be really disappointed too much or anything. Really, the only album I feel disappointed in from the past five years is A ONE.

Is crazy, back then people were saying that she needs to stop releasing so often and now people are saying that she they want her to release quicker. I am glad that she’s taking her time, after NEXT LEVEL I stopped listening to her religiously I can’t name an album after that. I’m not really sure why but I am excited of what’s to come.

I hope she releases something different since it's taking her so long to record this album. I don't expect anything ground-breaking, but some unique songs would be good. Also, a photoshoot for the album that doesn't only show her face in pastel tones

I thought the same about WARNING's PV and I'm recalling some people supported that theory too. The video had a lot of things that have been with Ayu during ages but people tend to criticize (Dramatic expressions, BDSM, sexyness, gayness, even her make up and hair)

THIS.

And a discussion on what we’d like the album to hear is totally fair. Some of you can get on your high horse about it, but what are we even supposed to do here in the forum? Do we have to work with what we tend to get these days and only that (IG posts and sparse tour information)?
Because if that’s the rule in the forum then I don’t know how it can be kept alive. Debates on how many eyes Ayu has in her IG pics won’t be enough to sustain us.

Im short, let people have their fun and don’t be so presumptious about it.

You are one of the members around here I enjoy reading the most, but really.

>People should discuss freely because this is a forum.
>People shouldn't question or disagree about other user posts.

Pick one, you can't really have both.

I said I didn't get when people ask to releases that are similar to past releases, and people explained what they meant when they say that. Now I know I was reading it way too literally.

There's no drama

Actually, I feel like petal has one of the most memorable melodies on LOVE again. The problem with this song and others on that album lies in the production. I don't know how to describe it, it feels very restricted and rough (but not in a good way). For example, let's take Shape of love and Breakdown. Both have the same floaty synth/ vibe as petal but they feel so much more open and resonant while listening to them. A live performance might do justice to petal.

^ I liked petal when it was just released, because it reminded me of SCAR but now it is doomed to be one of my least favourites from the album. I think I know what you mean by the 'very restricted and rough - not in a good way - feeling.' I feel a same thing when listening to this song in particular.
Also I have troubles describing it but... I am glad we experience the same thing.
