I've always wondered what it would be like to get a bootleg copy of something. Anyone ever successfully done that??

I see some weird bootlegs every now and then on ebay.

I bought CDs off of Taobao before. They've all been legit. It's important to look at the photos carefully, the description (they'll include the item's catalogue number most of the time) and also the seller feedback. Then you should be good to go

When I used to buy CDs and DVDs online, I only went through places like YesAsia. I never had issues with bootlegs when I used them but their prices aren't cheap.

Bootlegs can be tricky to spot but they can be a bit fun as well. As long as you don't overspend on them. I kind of miss the weird places Ayu would pop up because her picture had been stolen lol
