Wow, Ai no uta was already huge but now it's even bigger. Wonder if it was added to some playlists or just more japanese people starting to use Spotify. Thanks for the update, Kaled!

Most of those songs were performed recently, and even tho it seems pointless putting those studio version setlists, it actually helps a lot. BUT is actually the 3rd most played song from Kingdom, with Ai no Uta and anytime getting more streams.

Akiko Wada is celebrating her 50th Anniversary and she'll have a two days festival called ＷＡＤＡ　ｆｅｓ～断れなかった仲間達～. Kumi will be there on 10.17.

I love how Kumi has good connections/relationships with older artists. Like when she was part of the Hibari Misora concert, and most of her live collaborations from Music Fair, FNS, and many others.

^That performance is iconic. Her vocals, her outfit. Everything was perfect. I'm also impressed she didn't trip and fall in that dress.

Awesome that she's gonna be performing at that festival. Hopefully, she's going to perform something from DNA and not just Ai no Uta.

Spotify isn't popular at all in Japan (news reported it has only about 200k Japanese users).
So those numbers are probably highly influenced by non-Japanese listeners. TABOO is a popular song among fans here.
And Ai no Uta is charting everyday with only between 4-5k plays a day (the highest streaming songs on the Japanese Sporify charts have between 20-25k streams a day). It just seems to be a song a bunch of her fans agree to love and listen to everyday.

I would say that I loved pin drop preview but there is a rap part... At least the Chorus sounds good
Hot hot is nice
Work that mmmm... acceptable
The ballads are nice

So it seems there's no cute songs although kumi said that many mixed styles in this album...

Is there a hip hop song? I didn't notice it...

Judging by the previews I'm gonna love the full album. Loving everything so far, with WATCH OUT being the only one that I'm not so sure about it, but it's the messy song of the album anyway.

I'm SCREAMING at a song called HOT HOT cause that's the exact same name of a gay party club in Sao Paulo, it's even capitalized

(I think it has been shut down since earlier this year tho)

Can't hear the previews rn but I like what people are talking about them

So, she has at least three new sounds for her on the album.
HOT HOT is Latin Pop, Guess Who Is Back is Anison Rock and Work That sounds like House. The rest is quite typical for her, but this was to be expected from the DNA theme and I think this is going to be a good mix.
It definitely fits the concept and how she described it.

I for sure expected a song like 心からi love u, it's her typical midtempo sound.
会えなくなるくらいなら has some really nice vocals going on and has the potential to evolve into something epic.
ScREaM is surprising for me with that (potential) I scream = Icecream wordplay and the cutesy chorus and bridge. But it's another favourite of mine.

The ballads are nice, but I need the whole thing to judge if I'll like them or they'll turn out to be boring to me. ScREaM is good but something sounds off? The other are okay, can't judge much then now but all this may turn out to be a great album!

BRB dying over Work That. This song is my soul. I might actually cry.

I also am loving HOT HOT and Haircut is still funky fun. I think these will be my favs, but we shall see when the full thing comes out.
