The majority of her dancers are quite old and warn out. It’s time she replaces people like Zin and Subaru with younger, more attractive, guys. I usually don’t mind them during the tours as they add up to the atmosphere and I am generally ok as long as there are no pathetic, over-dramatic, dancing aka what she used to do with Shuya for the many ballad performances.

They ARE old. And it's not even a matter of being attractive or not, I couldn't care less, but dancing is hard on the body and dancers tend to retire early. Ayu schedule doesn't help either as her tours are long.

Sooner or later the olderst dancers will all need to be substituted because they will be past their time.

Yeah I don't really care if the dancers leave, most artists change their dance team on each tour lol it's not like I hate them but I don't watch her concerts for them, now when it comes to the band I do care, I was really sad when Enrique left and was so worried when the rumors about Yocchan leaving last year appeared

I really like her dancers because they are charismatic and some of them are great performers (beyond dancing skills) and even actors, like Midoring and Shu-ya. People tend to judge their acting (Ayu including) because it's 'over the top', but that scale of shows demand some theatrics and they pull off really well.

I hope the new dancers are versatile like that.

I liked Gomi a lot and was sad when he left. I liked 2-yan too...
Shuya I liked but then he just started being everywhere...

But aside from this group I don’t really care one way or the other for the current dancers haha.

Gomi was great - he had a different energy to the other dancers.

I believe ayu feels more comfortable with people who she knows for such a long time. She can rely on them and knows what to wait from their skills. That's her stage family and it's weird to think she will change them everytime someone said she need the fresh blood.

And also “trust”, new members means you need to rebuild it from the beginning, and it takes time if you are not trust people easily.

All people from her staff around her are paid employees.
She might prefer to work with friends, but they are employees nevertheless.

It feels a bit hypocritical to see comments that say some of Ayu's dancers should leave because they are old and not attractive enough. That we need new young dancers for eye candy.
The Ayu fandom gets pretty upset when comments are made about Ayu that say she is too old and criticize her face or weight. But yet the older dancers need to go because they aren't "fresh" anymore.

I watch Ayu concerts for Ayu, I don't see why her dancers need to be young and attractive, they ain't a boyband, as long as they can keep up its fine. I have found that Japanese dancers tend to be on the dramatic side, all that said Ayu has too many, the attention should always be on her and the dancers are an annoying distractions at times.

It's show business, people want to look at beautiful people just like in movies and TV shows.
