It was an honest question I know Ayu used a lot of of leopard print during all of her career and several of her collaborations actually used the motif, but I have no idea how often a random japanese person looks at leopard print and thinks "Hamasaki Ayumi". Is it enough for people to guess it's Ayu related?

I mean, people from the Ayu generation know about her Duty cover but it's not that they think about Ayu everytime they see a leopard print. Especially now that animal print is back on trend and every single fast fashion brand has some clothes with the leopard print.

By the way, I experienced something funny this week. I was telling a japanese friend I was going to Ayu's concert and then she decided to refresh her memory about Ayu's songs. And she played an youtube compilation with all ayu's singles and my friends was literally saying all the time: "is that Ayu's song?? I had no idea" with iconic - for us fans at leats - songs like evolution and Boys&Girls.
