She sounded very rested and strong! Those vocals on BLUE BIRD in particular were very nice.

All of them. With a help of editing. I didn't expect FNS to edit vocals. I thought they'd use best takes, but leave the vocals raw. Well, I'm not complaining, it was for the best.
I'm glad she shouted much less than during her actual shows, I was hoping for it. The voice is hoarse indeed though.

But I was able to find the entire broadcast on bilibili.
I thought it was such a nice performance! Lots of energy and stable vocals. Despite BLUE BIRD being hyped up, I found myself enjoying the other songs more. It feels nice to see her have a successful live appearance.

I liked the performance, the You & Me intro surprised me, it was really good. I also loved her kawaii voice on Sunrise.

Her voice is obviously edited (not a single off-key note) and I never thought I would say this one day, but it's better this way. At least she won't get much hate on internet.
But to be honest, it's truly a sad observation... What's left of Ayumi Hamasaki? A great show entertainer. That's a lot, but she used to be much more...

I also don't know if she had a boob job the last couple of years or if she puts high-knee socks under her bra, but considering her figure it really looks disproportionate in some outfits.

Otherwise, she looked really happy to perform and it was fun to watch.

Is she really great at entertaining though if she can't sing remotely well?
I know a lot of people are having fun at her concerts, she's still an eye candy, but I can't imagine myself paying full price for her show anymore.

Yeah I understand you. That is what I meant by entertaining. It's fun to watch, there is a lot of emotions, she is an amazing show performer. But not a technical one. It's still really entertaining and she can still pull out amazing sceneries (last one for BRILLANTE) ... Vocals aside.

I am more than happy to pay the full price and her concerts are still a lot of fun. It depends on your level of tolerance to the way she sings. Mine's pretty high and I know what to expect. Ayu was never about great vocals and the whole industry is dominated by mediocre singers at best. Also half of kpop acts lip sync their performances and people still pay to see them.

Ayu has always been about great music, fun performances and strong stage presence.
