Thanks for the responses, I think I'll have to just buckle up and pay the higher price ughhhhhhhhh
Maybe if I ever get a cheap CD bundle off YAJ or Mercari I'll use SAL to ship it but I would be way too anxious shipping new stuff via that method. Maybe I should make a prayer to the postage gods that EMS will resume in February lol I'll never complain about EMS in the future xD
