2 different versions of end roll and trust???

i dont know if this has been posted before but im wondering how come there are 2 different studio versions of "end roll" and "trust"?? note that im not talking about remixes. if any of you want, i can try to upload those tracks so you can listen to the differences. if anyone knows why there are multiple versions for these tracks, discuss.

I guess you are talking about the A BEST version. It is a re-recorded version, which ayu's vocal is more mature.

is it only just those 2 tracks, or is the whole A BEST album re-recorded?

On the back of the A Best CD (OS version), it says "A Song for XX", "Trust", and "Depend on You" were rerecorded.

i like her voice and technique durin A Best time the most~

she didn't have her squeeky voice which she kinda did in the first place, have great control over her emotion qualities that show in the song, but not sound as overused as she is now

those versions are much better i think

What else are re-recorded or re-arranged or w/e that is different from the first original? I don't have this album so I can't really figure it out.

As everyone else already said.
- Re-recorded vocals: A song for XX, Trust, Depend on you, End roll
- Re-arrangment: Boys & Girls

Those are the only ones different from the original that were featured A Best.

A BALLADS is another story.

Well at least A Ballad has some kind of notes next to them like (HAL's MIX), (REbrith mix), etc.

A Best has stars next to the first 3, with a note at the end in a smaller font that says the songs have "New Vocal and Mix" on the jewel case.

The new versions of End Roll and Boys & Girls weren't marked on the CD case... they were just kinda like pleasant surprises. You know, for the people who actually have ears and can hear differences and don't need a CD case to tell them it's a new version.

So many people don't realize that Boys & Girls is any different. I don't know why, I think it's obvious immediately. The mix is just a little different. Who here can immediately hear a difference between the single and album versions of "monochrome" without hearing the ending? *raises hand* Not many can actually say yes to that.

(for those who don't know, the single version is mixed by Dave Ford and the album version is mixed by Dave Way. The instruments have different volumes & effects applied to them. I like the album version better, it has more depth.)
