Popular Youtuber Haichi (He shares lessons and educational tutorials) confessed he suffered a lot of bullying back in school so he was interviewed to talk more about this issue, during his interview and when he was asked if back then he got some kind of support he said Ayu's "A song for XX" helped him (rough translation I did, if I did any mistake or someone can make a better one please post it here as well!)

"When you were suffering this bullying, did you have any kind of external support?

Haichi: If I think about support, only one song comes to mind. Now I'm a 36-year-old man, but Ayumi Hamasaki marked a whole generation. At that time, I used to listen to" A song for XX "very often, it has a very dark lyrics that talk about not having a place to belong, but when I listened to it I felt very happy and relieved, it was as if she was talking about my own suffering. This is why I listened to this song about 100 times a day to full volume with my headphones. "

The "ayu part" comes around at 05:44! I think what he said was really nice.

We’re finally at the point where people are reflecting on Ayu’s influence on them. I feel like it’s taken forever! Lol

I don’t know that you tuber but it’s nice that he was able to find support in Ayu like that.

I still don't get the Love Song-Last angel-Virgin Road trilogy lol

Like... was she alive in LS? Or already dead? Because at the end of the video she's dead? Did the police kill her? And in LA, who is the other girl? Who was she running away from? In VR are they in their ideal "heaven"? I am confucius

The trilogy follows more of a dream logic and most likely isn't meant to make total sense.

If I were going to give it a take, Mannie is haunting Ayu, either literally as a ghost (he steps on a puddle and no water spashes in Love song) or as an ex-lover she can't move over from. She dies and goes living an idealized romantic afterlife with him, either literally or as a projection she has of him as a lover.

Guys have any of you purchased from mercari? Is there an option to message sellers? I can’t find it. There’s a thing I want to buy but it’s quite expensive, the seller says in the description he does consider lowering the price so I’d like to see how much lol

I was just thinking which album was the first one I didn’t fully enjoy. That would be RnRC. There are some songs on this album that I don’t listen to at all. Such as: Last Links, meaning of Love, Sunset and Sexy little things. Love songs is an exception. I love all the songs on this album. And after that, there are songs on every album that I don't listen to at all and I don't like them very much. But before RnRC, I love all the songs on all the albums. There’s only one song from older albums that I don’t like, and that’s girlish. This song is so annoying. Is there anyone who loves this song? How perfect it would be if the last song on the Duty album was ever free. That would be the perfect ending. I just wanted to share my thoughts.

^for me there is not a single song I don't listen to here and there but there is a list of songs I don't listen to on purpose or I dislike for a reason or another.
It's not limited to never music but spread across all of them. Examples are:

half of ASFXX ( including FRIEND, Wishing, As if.., For My Dear, Present and Two of us), LOVE destiny, Grateful Days, connected, Hello New me, Angel, ever free, Key, beloved, kanariya, sakura, Thank u, close to you, red line, my all ...

just to name a few

also angels song and honey are not always welcome, yet i don't dislike them.

"As if..." is amazing, but as far as I know, Ayumi has never performed it live or re-sang it, so it's just remembered in that voice that Avex made her use for A Song for xx.

I would scream to see her perform As if... Although I'm not sure how that would sound with her current voice. As if... is my second favorite song on the ASFXX album.

^ I think she'd sound fine. Everybody was wondering (and a little worried) what kanariya would sound like and when she finally sang it, it turned out pretty good.

SO, has anyone ever wondered what the fabric is that Ayu has been using a lot in her live show wardrobe? The flowy stuff that she used for one of her performances of Together When at CDL '12-'13? And also the Brillante one on that red dress..I've always wondered what it was, and i think i just randomly found it. It's "super organza" most likely made by Amaike company (they are japanese) it's the lightest fabric that exists - about one fifth or sixth the thickness of a hair. No wonder it looks so magical when it moves.
