From what I understood (I don't speak japanese very well, so feel free to correct me), she teased the comedy duo (they aren't singers) that the song they did for a 2019 sketch/show had the same melody as BLUE BIRD, but I guess they denied at first that ayu's song was the inspiration behind it? (not in a rude way, so no need to hate on them, one of them was a fan ^^)
Which explains the different lyrics (and no credit for ayu): it's not an official cover althought same chorus melody
