Thanks for the links! Yeah i just saw the CM on facebook. Totally weirded out there’s nothing about it on here… It’s obviously a jewellery brand, but Ayu herself didn’t share any of it either. Weird.

Ayu posted a story on IG about a recording session for a new song “she can’t wait for it to be released.”

I didn’t expect a new song from her, since her “unofficial hiatus” announcement. Can’t wait to find out more on it!

Ayu has posted about making new music a few times this year - I'll copy/paste some excerpts from the running record of her activities we have going on at the Discord server.

June
- 28.6.23: Ayu is working on finishing a new song (shared via IG Story)

November
- 1.11.23: Ayu posts about being in the studio, saying "It's been a while since I've created something that's taken my breath away, YO?", tagging her A&R Director, Hidetomo Yoneda.
- 3.11.23: Ayu shares that she is taking many breaks and is working hard, but "the song is gonna be so good!"
- 4.11.23: Ayu confirms that she has finished a new song in a TA app thread. A mura-ayu video is also posted, filled with clips from Act 1 and thanking everyone for supporting the tour.
- 15.11.23: On the TA app, ayu writes her first blog (instead of the live updates via the chatroom), confirming she's going to the recording studio again.
- 22.11.23: Via an IG Story, Ayu reveals that the new song "has to be finished today". Later on, she updates her Instagram to confirm the song has been finished.

At least 3 songs. Isn't it a good idea to release mini album with a "Remember me" title xD

I think this is my favorite picture of her in the last decade, and that's saying something. It's so dramatic, so different than other glamour shots. She's done really daring stuff like this before, but not often, and not recently. I love it.

Wait she ACTUALLY mentioned a hiatus??? That woman said she can't live not being on stage, what happened to that?? Oh don't tell me, I know, KIDS, right? probably. Ah well, it was bound to happen eventually. She needs a refreshing AT LEAST, wouldn't be very surprised if she just quit, too.

^ she said that we won't probably meet her at Yoyogi for CDL 24-25 as usual, because she might enter an unofficial break after the national tour

i remember last year, she said it was being hard to put out an album from scratch, as she was dealing with creative block

it reminds me of her sharing that back in 2013 she decide to move to US hoping things would change a bit, because she felt she was just doing the same thing over and over again, now i kinda feel that after all that she has done this year, she needs to rest her mind and watch things from a distant perspective for some time
