As much as I hate Linkin Park, I really liked the Breaking the Habit video. It reminded me of some of the shorts in the Animatrix.

Some guy they worked with (I forget his name) for this, worked on Kill Bill Vol 1.

The video was animated by Production I.G. (for any anime fans who don't know this studio, you should be ashamed of yourselves). But anyway, Production I.G. also animted Kids Story in the Animatrix AND the anime segment in Kill Bill vol.1, which would explain the same animation style ^_^
however, i find the style kinda boring myself. It was good for Animatrix as it was fresh and original, but then to do the same thing in both kill bill and the LP video, it's as if they think it's the only style that will appeal to western audiences. |

I really hated the Drawing style in the video. Reminded me of a cheap anime. But I really like the song!

^ I agree. That really bugs me... it looks so, unfinished.

I detest the Breaking the Habit video... looks more like American anime than Japanese. And I wouldn't be as upset if they didn't keep saying anime instead of animated. No, it just looks like a bad show from G4-TechTV. Linkin Park obviously doesn't understand what REAL anime is.
