Question Tears - Ayu's Power Over Us..

Have some of you ever felt as though.. you need to cry for no reason? Not that you are depressed, but feel the weight of the world is placed on top your shoulders.

Even if the smallest thing is bothering you like a chip on your shoulder..

It's strange.

I've been taking a break from listning to Ayu, but now, I feel like an obsessed fan, like I used to be a while back.

I'm feeling a bit emotional at the moment (for some apparent reason, I don't know why O______O) .. and the need to cry. Seeing pictures of Ayu and hearing her music help heal the pain inside my heart. She's the only singer that has made me cry so many damn tears, so maybe that's why I've felt the need to listen to her again.

Though, I only wish she knew that she has many fans that are touched by her music.

That inspired me to go on an Ayu shopping spree

Holy crap yes! I consider myself a pretty happy person, and I dont usually let things bother me, but sometimes I'll just want to burst into tears for no reason. And I have no idea why! It's definitly happened to me before.

If I see a commercial on tv, usually emotional ones about families, or animals, I'll just want to burst into tears. Does anyone remember that commercial from the early 90s about not doing drugs, and it played The Hollies' "he ain't heavy he's my brother", and there was that guy in the hospital and he sees his friend in the hospital and they hug... oh god just the memory makes me all sad... hehe... and some songs do that too...

I've never cried because of Ayu's songs though...

Yeah actually. The best thing if you're feeling a little stressed is to watch the CCB, which I did, and surreal, M, evolution, Real Me and forgiveness seemed to make me feel a lot better for some reason..

And after a erm..temporary breakup, I played HANABI 6x and was really depressed and it made me so sad. I can't listen to that song anymore. But now that we're back together (she was having some issues with stress) I went back to my Ai Otsuka/ELT (commonplace) music.

i think the most emotional ayu song for me was M. i would sit in the dark and listen to it and just close my eyes...the buildup in that song is so intense! and then at the end it all just fades away

i was actually thinking about this the other day when walking to class and listening to my MD player! I was listening to who... that song always makes me feel nostalgic, like her voice is asking, reaching for something...makes me think.

The most emotionals songs for me ate Teddy Bear, Memorial Address and Seasons. I actually cried once while listening to that last one, and I can't listen to songs like "Hanabi" a lot of times in a row because it'll make me sad. Also, I somehow feel even more sad if I'm listening to her ballads (Like "Carols") and watching to pictures of her. Dunno why.

Up until now I've felt sad whilst listening to some of Ayu's sadder songs, but recently I've felt down, and listening to Carols made me cry. I can't listen to A Song is born because it makes me cry too, because of what the song is about.

I can say..I HAVE cried listening to Ayumi's GAME. Okay. Seriously, you guys think I'm crazy to cry over a rocky song like that. _-_;; but GAME is my fav Ayumi song and I think one word to describe it is..desperate. Because when I hear it, I somehow feel as if she's desperately trapped in one place, asking for help. And alot of time when I hear this, I can relate. And especially when i feel sad I would start crying when I think about she's able to say the words. T_T;; But her songs ARE powerful to a emotional little being like me. XDDD;; *nods*

Echko, you're not alone, i actually cried listening to Ayu's " EVOLUTION" once, i think it was a performance, not the actual song. It started out with Ayu saying stuff like....how the world was created and stuff like that..the background music kinda made me sad.

Yeh, i have, and still do certain songs just do that to me. Especially while watching concerts aswell.

Also, after seeing the special Ayu interview earlier this year, i felt really emotional afterwards... i'm such a girl lol

A lot of her ballad songs have made me cry... the first time I heard End roll I cried. M gets me going too. Recently I was driving in my car listening to Memorial address and suddenly the emotions just choked me and I started crying, and everyone else in their cars just looked at me funny. But yeah, when I really get into her songs, she moves me.
