That's what will mostly happen when you slip small bits of another language into a song sang mostly in another language.

'forgiveness' was in my opinion, Ayu's greatest piece in 2003. It's one of my favorite songs and just a powerful and emotional piece. It was very impacting on me and left a huge impression, I was just blown away by how beautiful it was. The PV was also SPECTACULAR! Everything about it was just plain gorgeous... It was definitely one of her best PVs ever. Okay I just LOVE EVERYTHING about the 'forgiveness' period. I want another epic ballad like it but I doubt many of her fans will be happy. Poo on them haha

Watching it on DVD you really see how amazing it is all the details... and this song reminds me of the classical music I like - really beautiful.

forgiveness n' RAINBOW r my favorites!!
they're not the usual 'Dearest' n' 'Voyage' stereotype of commercial j-pop songs~~
forgiveness stands out so much as if it's of another spiritual level~~
i was so amazed when i first heard it dat I kept on repeating it on my hi-fi
i've even made a grand piano score for it~~
i could never understand how ayu can produce 2 such magnificent songs (incl. RAINBOW) within a year~~

WOW! I like forgiveness very much! I think it's a very good ballad. It's true the english at the end it's so bad, but the song it's beautiful! And the PV it's very good too!!!

people are so divided on this issue.....it is almost unbelievable!
but at least it shows that we are not blind fans and say 'omg an ayu song omg i die' everytime an ayu song comes out

I for one love Forgiveness. It's something different Ayu had ever produced in the past. I think the ending kinda ruins it for most of the fans. But i might be in the minority becuase i love how the ending sounds.....if i'm not listening with the lyrics.

hm? well...i like the piano part...it's really cool...and i can play it too...^^...and i love the song...it makes me think of many things i've done in my life...all her songs make me think that way...that's why i love ayu...not as an idol...but as someone who understands people out there that are not noticed by many thousands of people...
