Kouhaku 'Moments' Performance Lipsynched?

I know there's a lot of threads about Ayu lip-synching, but I think she is this time. I dl'ed the HQ version of the 'Moments' performance, and I've watched it over and over, and her mouth movements are not matching up with the vocals... Either the file is messed up (doubt it, cause the lady introducing her matches up fine) or she's doing a poor lipsynching job...

I saw what the audience rated Ayu here and it's pretty high, 40.7%... And it's weird because it doesn't sound live to me... I mean, is lipsynching even allowed at Kouhaku? I liked the performance, but Ayu, if you're gonna lip-synch at least get the timing down right...

I'm not sure, but I have a feeling they wouldn't allow lip-synching at the Kouhaku Utagassen.

The audio and video are out of sync most of the time on the file I have, including the intro

no way~!! i think i d/led the same one as you and i think the audio and video are out of sync, so i d/led another version and it was alright

well....when i watched it on tv, i thought it was strange but the fact is the entire kouhaku show's audio is off sync by like a second or so....i watched this in cali so i don't know if it's just me

i hate the costume ayu should wear the same thing as she did in the pv.

Either the file or your computer. My computer used to be pretty slow for certain video files and while the first parts would be all synchronized, later the sound would dissociate from the video. That would explain why you see the lady introducing things on synch and ayu will later look off synch.

I saw it on tv and she clearly did not lipsync.

No she didn't but she did have a slight trouble changing tones in one of the earlier part, if that's what you're hinting on.

that's not the audiences' rating, that's the tv rating for the individual artists.

If I fastforward a videofile (especially divx movies), the audio video sync always gets messed up. Maybe that's what happened.

of couse not, i have a high quality one,the soudn is a bit faster, but the low quality one have the same speed , it should be the problem of the file.

the file I have has the same problem...
and I guess she wouldn't do something like that.

It's the file. It does this little skippy thing right as the song is starting and it throws the rest of the sync slightly off for the rest of the song. I am absolutely sure Ayu is singing live in this performance.
