what do you think ayu in 2005 will be?
rising up or falling down......?
I hoipe that she gets lots of awards this year and her 7th album will be great...her singles also

I say same or down. Sadly, I really do think Ayu is past her prime in terms of popularity.

I'll be happy if her popularity just stays on the same level but I wouldn't be suprised if her singles sold a little less. No big disaster, just gradually fading away. Hasn't she already been No1 for a long time for a Jpop star? It'd be a nice surprise if her sales improved from '04 but I'm not really expecting that.

I'm thinking she'll just say about the same in terms of sales..unless she gets a REALLY good tie-in or a really impacting and emotional song which really moves people. I'm just waiting patiently for her next single which I hope she doesn't rush, I want another power ballad!

Tough question.. but yea.. lately her sales have been slowly selling less. Sadly enough if she doesn't come up with something innovative and something which could really make her fans go "wow" well.. she might either remain the same or fall down.

Today's Ayu do lack something that really sets her apart from the rest or apart from her other stuffs for that matter to really gain more market.

I agree with you. She needs to do something innovative to grab people's attention...and I hope she will, but who knows.

i would really like to see ayu take a break sometime this year. just something to help her get some rest and calm things down. maybe then she could spend more time with tomoya. if she takes some time off she might be able to get some fresh ideas for her new music. i think she should just slow down a little bit.

Ditto. She really needs a break and just time to live her life especially with Tomoya. This maybe the year she gets married!
