Sad problem... can anyone help?

Okay, so, my new cell phone has this thingy where you can create covers for it by printing them off your computer. I dance up and down at the thought of creating awesome Ayu covers! But then my printer breaks and cannot print a thing... a dark time passes... until my sister finally fixes it! I dance up and down to go print some covers... and it only prints in black and white, and we can't seem to get it to print in color.
SOOO, my question is... does anyone have any black and white pictures of Ayu???? Pleeease?

Images are very easy to change to black and white, if you have any specific ones I can easily change them.

Tried it, and it doesn't work quite as well. My printer has some sort of grudge against grays...

So, you're talking monochrome, not grayscale, right?

Perhaps you should try getting the printer fixed instead. It's really hard to have something look nice in monochrome. The edges couldn't blend and all, jagginess galore. Unless if you're purposely going for that "artistry"... hehehe.

Then again it might not look to bad in monochrome. Here's a simulation I did:

Notice the jagged edges on the monochrome piece. It still looks kinda neat tho.
You can touch up the edges manually with a marker or even color it yourself.

^Eh, it's okay. Looks alright, but not really phone cover material...
I'll make some other pics like this, and see if they turn out okay...

I made a couple, I don't know if they're what you're looking for though...I can make half-way decent ones out of most pictures, I think, so if there's a picture you want I can try it. My attempts are attached.

get an ASCII art program and tranfers your image into an ASCII/ANSI art (images make up of fixed-width fonts) then print it out. Should be all tidy.

Nope. But we figured out why. Something about a damaged printer head. May be easy to fix, so it's good. But since nobody else in my house is all excited about printing in color, it looks like I may be the person to fix it...
