VCD to mp3
I don't really know where to put this so sorry if this is the wrong place. I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to burn my concert vcd and turn it into mp3's. I want to put it onto my ipod so I can run at the gym.. do I need any special software? Any help would be great. (I suck with technology)

It's not easy... The best way I've found to do it is to put the VCD in your drive, go into the MPEGAV folder, drag the .dat files onto your drive, and open them in VirtualDub (very simple-but-kinda-annoying-to-use video editing software that I only use for getting screen caps and audio rips from mpg files). In VirtualDub, select the whole length of the video and rip the audio from it in WAV format. Then use an audio converter like GermaniXencoder (that program converts everything, i love it) to make it an mp3.
Kinda complex, takes awhile, but if anyone knows a better (which is to say faster, maybe one-step) way to do it PLEASE let one of us know XD
