Dancing brothers for growing cannabis at home
(Kyodo) _ The popular dancing duo GoGo Brothers were arrested Thursday on suspicion of growing cannabis plants and possessing the dried leaves at their home in Fukuoka, police said.
The police identified the suspect as Rei (Rey) Abe, 21, and his 20-year-old brother Yu, both of Fukuoka's Hakata Ward. The brothers are well-known as dancers and dance instructors and have joined diva Ayumi Hamasaki's domestic tour as backup dancers.

The police alleged that the brothers had grown seven cannabis plants inside a storage space in their home since late last November.

The police also found dried cannabis leaves in seven plastic bags and a stick of dried leaves rolled up in paper, police officials said.

The police searched the suspects' home earlier in the day after receiving a tip-off that the two men were selling dried cannabis leaves.
