Care to explain me RAINBOW's PV plot?

'RAINBOW' is one of Ayu's best video. Plus, it's a beautiful song. But i've always wondered, what is the main plot of this PV? I know it's something about a happy Ayu, and a sad Ayu. But i don't quite get it.

I'd appreciate it if someone explain it to me. Thanks!

It's about the past Ayu forgiving the present Ayu for the things she did. Ayu explained the pv and cover of A Ballads herself ^^

The meaning of A BALLADS album and RAINBOW PV was explained by ayu. She says that one of her represents her past, and the other represents her present - she is consoling and finally coming to terms with her past.

Now I am very happy that I know..
I still am a little confused about the cup of water and the other Ayu disappearing at the end of it though.. is that water and the disappearing signaling her coming to terms with her past? if so.. then now I understand it.. I had figured the water had something to do with the sadness (other ayu) disappearing.. but i wasn't sure in relationship to what..

Hum, i think its a bit different
The cup in the end of the scene shows that "AYU" is just an illusion
Even the waitress doesnt see her and therefore only gives one cup of water to the existing Ayu,

The way I interpret it:

Past Ayu sees Present Ayu and wants to pursue her. Past Ayu chases Present Ayu. Present Ayu seems to run from her. (Many people seem to do this when you think about it - running from their past, etc.)

At the top of the stairs, the roles become reversed when Present Ayu turns around and realizes that she needs to come to terms with her Past self. However, Past Ayu becomes scared/intimidated/whatever and runs away.

Finally, in the bar, Present Ayu meets with Past Ayu.

but she looks to the future and find the way that she must face it..
