If you seen the Lumix commercial what did u guys think of the preview of alterna?

I can't say much because we can't barely hear the song from the LUMIX CM, but from what I heard, it sounds pretty great. Still waiting for the real song to really judge it. Hopefully, it's not too rock. Something like NEVER EVER, Heartplace or I am... would be great.

But the song title, I'm loving it. Love it.

I'm really excited becuase I really like what I hear from the commercial!....too bad August is sooo far away!

It sounds Kinda rockish to me but I have a feeling that im not gonna like this song so hopefully it can grow on me.

I don't really have an opinion yet, somehow the CM clip of the song seemed shorter than it actually was.

lol I know me 2... but Ill laugh so hard if I like the song called fairyland... the name... doesnt sound interesting, but I have a wierd feeling im not gonna like this single...

From what I've heard, I like it. I like the rock-ish direction her music is headed in, but I still hope she still keeps assimilating styles like she used to do.

All of those songs are completely rock.

Those are her best rock songs though IMO. Alterna sounds more like the type of rock in Because of You and Is This Love? Still though, I can't wait to hear it.

hmmm...the first time i listened to it, it wasnt like WOW like STEP you preview

but the more i listen to alterna the more i like it

Maybe they seem soft because all of the rock bands out there right now only play crunching guitar riffs with no melodies.(generally speaking)

IMO I would never classify songs like Never Ever, Heartplace etc. as soft rock. Soft rock is something like Matchbox 20. Heartplace, Never Ever, Surreal and others lean more towards melodic rock(ie good rock^_^) while Is This Love? and Game lean towards metal or nu-metal.

I hope it will be great
as last time, when i heard the cm version of STEP you, I think I won't like this,
but actually it results so different with that and I love the single version very much o_O

its ok...but its hard to tell from that preview clip. STEP you really grabbed me when i heard the cm with it, but this one hasn't done that. of course, i'm sure once it comes out and i hear the full thing, i'll like it.

It sounds alright. Anyone wonder why STEP you sounds all bad and slowed down in the CM? If it really sounded like that I would hate the song, luckily it's faster and more upbeat...

CMs aren't the best way to judge new songs...><;
