You can now see Avex President/Ayu's producer's blog on Ayu's site, it should popup when you visit. From what I can make of it, Max talks very, very positively about Ayu... He says that there is no idol that can replace her ever. That she is on her way to be the next Madonna/Yumi Matsutoya. He also confirms that 'fairyland' will cost 240 million yen, (2 million $US). He has very high expectations about the new single, and says that there will be a new album by the end of the year! Also, I noticed on Avex's main page that Ayu is the #1 artist again. http://cavex.avexnet.or.jp/index.jsp

That's great! I think fairyland single will be her "comeback" and she will be as big as I am.. -days! No-one will never replace her. And new album? SWEET!!

hmm..so..a bad rumour about her lately is definitely just a rumour
i'm happy to know this.. i think ayu is still have a GREAT way for her carier she still can open the next door to make her carier is higher than now... i just love to know this news

Thanks for the info! This is good to hear, I'm hoping that like Madonna she'll still be popular and making music years after her most massive period.
Talk about a new album makes me happy, but to avoid disappointment I'm still expecting a '06 release. At least this shows that Ayu/her company is thinking of the future and not of retiring.
