There is some info in the Rules & Regulations sticky:
http://www.ahsforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10131 I'm sure one of the senior members can explain the different titles better than I. As for how one becomes a helper, members submit suggestions and those picked serve for a term of 3 months. Post count has nothing to do with becoming part of the temporary or permanent staff.
