Manga illusturations in Because of you PV?

I recently watched Because of you PV and it rocked my world

I was absolutely SCHOCKED to see the old-looking shoujo manga illusturations! They look awfully like Riyoko Ikeda's style. She's the author of one of my all time favorite manga series, Rose of Versailles. I couldn't figure out which manga series those illusturations are from and I'm not even sure if they're from a certain series or just illusturations. If you know anything about this please share with me.

I think they are original animations done just for the video. They are there to help portray an abusive relationship.

Those illustrations look lovely. I don't know who designed them, though.

I agree it looks really pretty. I think it was done for the PV itself. Not really from a anime.

Ummm... I dun't really remember wot's that anime anymore, but i'm kinda sure that the anime played in Because of You is from sume Japanese anime...
