I'm quite addicted to Hung up. It's on #1 as a video here in Europe according to MTV Italy =P

Hahaha, I can understand that. I heard 'Hung Up' twice on the radio during a day at work and I was already sick of it. That 'Super Pop' song was a bore too.

Actually I like Hung Up. Seeing a woman of 47 still dance and look like she's 27 is quite amusing.

the video for "hung up" doesn't do her much good. She's old now, and shouldn't wear those clothes anymore (although later in the clip she wears jeans, that's totaly hot!). But Madonna was the Ayu of her time. Madonna also had huge special lives and tours (and this inspired Ayu in her arena tour 2002), Madonna also changed her image/style/look every release and madonna was also considered the queen.
Ayu has been bigger in her homecountry Japan than madonna was in America, but since Ayu doesn't sing in english, she's not as famous as Madonna.
I hope that when Ayu is 47 she's still active like Madonna.

I was never really a fan, but I did like her old stuff, as that's the stuff she was doing when I was growing up... I just don't like her new stuff, it's too much technical stuff and doesn't seem like real music, I don't find it pleasant to listen to, there's no balance, it's all techical-sounding for me. I don't like her new single, whatever it's called, I heard in on a CM for the album and she just butchered a classic with the way she used it in that awful track.
She does have a great body for her age, however she doesn't look young to me, all that exercising makes her face sharper and does make her look older than she is.

Honestly I've never seen a lovelier face of a woman aged 47. It looks young and really smooth. Could be the make up or some special cream or something.. don't understand much in this sector but I think she actually looks younger than she is.

Maybe it's just me who thinks that, but I have honestly seen women and men here who are older than her and they [natural way] look a lot younger. I look at Madonna and I think she's a lot older than her actual age. All those sharp lines on her face make her look tired to me - the same with the actress from SATC, Parker [?] I think her name is, she has sharp features like that too and she also seems to me older than she really is. Recently I saw some pics of that actress and her face looked more rounder and softer, she really did look a bit younger after she put on a small amount of weight after the show ended. I suppose I'm more used to seeing smoother, slightly more rounded faces here, which really does make some people look a lot younger, so that's what I go by.

Donno. To me she has the figure even if she's not skinny and the face of a younger woman. Most women start getting wrinkles and puffy eyes. To me she still looks younger than she is.

I only like Hung Up & Like a Virgin. Her other music is.....*coughs*

I respect her as an artist for what she has accomplished but she's way too flashy with me. All that Kabbalah suff seems like a gimmick sometimes. That new video for hung up, made me kinda sick. She reminded me of my grandma at arobic class -_-

I know! Somehow, i wonder why Ayumi attracts to a lot of my gay male friends! Practically all the Ayu fans i know in real life are gay. ^_^. I think there's something about Ayu......

At least we know she's pro gay because she hangs out at gay bars. (and more than once)^_^

She's been using Botox. Botox is a somekind of nerve toxin which in in cosmetic use can smooth out wrinkles and make you look younger. a doctor injects it in to your face with a needle and the effect lasts for a couple of months. lots of older celebs both men and women are taking botox shots. I read from the tabloids a while a back about Madonna going to a clinic to get her face done with Botox.
her 'Hollywood' music vid has her taking Botox too , cos it's what most people these days in hollywood do

anyway , I like Madonna's music a lot. both the older & never music. I'm a big fan of eletronic music and Madonna has some really talented producers working with her. I like her lyrics in 'Ray of Light' , especially on my favorite song off the album 'Nothing Really Matters'.

'Hung Up' is really good , I love the part where the music sorta stops for awhile and only the muffled beat remains. I'm not that impressed with the rest of the new album yet but that song is just so good

I don't really like Madonna herself. I wish she'd try to succeed with her music alone , but she's always making up all sorts of lame 'scandals' to keep herself 'relevant'. kissing britney (and Xtina too , but no one cares about this lol) , her anti-war stance , her whole 'erotica' phase , turning english , her phony spriritual awakenings (first catholic , then jewish , buddhist on Ray of Light and now Kabbalah , whats next?) and etc ....

I really think that's just who she is as far as her political stance and her sexuality. She's just Madonna (off in her own category)
