All of Mika's music that I've heard bores the heck out of me, and this is coming from someone who loves ballads more than anything...
BoA's stuff is so blatantly poppy, but yet I do like a bunch of her songs and I think she has a decent voice. Ai Otsuka is a mixed bag... while I do like some of her ballads (Kingyo Hanabi, Daisuki da yo, Ame no naka no Melody, Planetarium, Cherish) I despise all of her cutesy happy stuff and most all the rest of her songs, and I think her voice is pretty bad. Don't see what the hype is about either. As far as stuff on this list, I voted MM... never heard anything from Gackt or Heartsdale or KK though so I couldn't say
