that 'error' problem you are saying, could it be due to copy control cd? i had lent my (miss)understood (singapore version which has copy control) to friend, but her computer says 'error' too.

Soulhead- Naked
Koda Kumi- BEST -Second Session-
Ayumi Hamasaki- (miss)understood

It could be, many cd's has copy control
