Is there any program of method in labeling one's music files quickly?

and effectively?

I'm getting tired of editing the same information for every single song in an album...for lots of albums..

so does anyone know of any?

Thanks in advance

itunes does a pretty good job -- you just have to highlight all the songs from the one album, right click and select "Get Info", and the info you put in will apply to all the songs highlighted

^ Yup, I'd go with iTunes. You can also convert your music files to different file formats (.mp3 to .m4a for example) and that might help you organise all your music easily as well. ^^

^ Nope, iTunes is not just for people with iPods XD It's just a normal music player like any other out there.

Converting your files from .mp3 to .m4a helps save space on your computer....and if you ever do get an iPod it'll let you store more music on there

This is only my recommendation, haha, since this is what I do with my files ^^;

I use the creative zen file manager generally when ripping cd's or labelling tracks. You can select all tracks you want and change Album/artist/genre info manually or you can download the info from the web through the program.

I use JetAudio 6. It can give such an amazing sound and has good features, and it edits multiple tags like you need.

insert your CD to iTunes and click on Get CD Track Names

if you're on WMP, just insert the CD and get connected to the internet,
it will tag all tracks and you can start ripping!
